This competition is designed for senior ḥuffāẓ and consists of two main components: Ḥifẓ and Āyah Identification.
The ḥifẓ section covers the entire Qur'an, with recitation performed in ḥadr style (a fast-paced recitation while maintaining a high standard of tajwīd and accuracy). Participants may recite using either qaṣr or tawassuṭ in al-madd al-munfaṣil (optional).
The Āyah Identification section focuses on Sūrah al-Baqarah (286 āyāt). Participants will be tested in two ways: they may be given an āyah and asked to state its number, or given a number and required to recite the corresponding āyah.
